Spanning the Globe: The Last Blue Water Liners

Before the airlines and their speedy jets conquered the long-distance travel world by the 1960s, the passenger ship was the primary link between continents. In this talk, we nostalgically review a vast fleet of fascinating, often class-divided passenger ships, with luxurious, upper deck first class quarters to spartan, lower-deck tourist and third class. Great shipping companies and some of their fleets appear such as the French Line, Italian Line, British India Line, P&O and American President Lines and ships both large and small. It is fascinating tale of ships & the sea!
